Tommy Klein – Founder
With over four decades of experience in landscaping, Tommy Klein founded Natural Scapes in 1997. His expertise is in low maintenance designs that blend seamlessly with nature. Tommy takes pride in creating vibrant, harmonious landscapes that incorporate elements such as plants, rocks, and wood to enrich the outdoor spaces.
Tommy has a true passion for people and nature. And he enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with clients on ways to transform their properties into the tranquil sanctuaries they deserve. He stays current on cutting edge techniques and trends by regularly attending trade workshops. He and his team are committed to giving back and have worked on projects for Oakley Elementary, Mountain Pet Rescue and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue.

Hannah Williams – Operations Director
Hannah keeps projects flowing smoothly from start to finish, making sure clients are ecstatic with their finished creation. A pianist in her spare time, she brings a musician’s ear for harmony to every project. Her energetic yet reassuring approach consistently earns rave reviews from clients—and all that jazz!
Tim Jones – Plant Specialist
Tim is our go-to for all colorful, living things. A self-proclaimed “plant snob,” he takes the time to connect with clients and understand their vision, ensuring that every recommendation functions beautifully within client spaces, and thrives in the beautiful WNC mountains!
Lauren Beckwith – Designer
Lauren is our go-to for hand-sketched, deeply personal landscape designs, bringing an artist’s touch and a storyteller’s heart to every plan she puts on paper. An Asheville native and local illustrator, she’s also the author of the children’s book A Business of Ferrets. Her designs are one-of-a-kind pieces of art—keepsakes clients even love enough to hang on their walls.
